Application ID (aid) Constants

Application ID’s are UUID assigned to an application by the Experience Manager. In the case of the Experience Agent, these are constant across all installations, allowing these contants to be defined within other applications and the ID sent to Experience Manager with requests like heartbeats using the X-XOM-AID header so that the Experience Manager may identify the sender.

Atlas Experience Agent (>= 3.0) Constants

The aid acts as a semi-private token for use during the Node Providioning process and is required for Node Provisioning.
