Universal/HTML Applications
Universal Applications are HTML applications that are platform agnostic, but require a platform specific Web Application Wrapper to launch, or static site hosting for microsite hosting.
Atlas provides a general purpose Web Application Wrapper based on Electron for Debian Linux (aarm64 and x86_64) and Windows (x86_64) freeing developers from having to build and deploy their web applications as executables.
Atlas also provides a microsite hosting platform Sites providing a fully managed process for delivering Universal/HTML applications online.
The advantage of Universal/HTML Applications is a build once, deploy anywhere pattern.

Use Cases
This section outlines common use cases for Universal/HTML Applications.
Digital Signage and Kiosks
Universal/HTML Applications may be delivered to on-premesis, PC-based digital signage and kiosk endpoints through the Atlas Experience Agent.
Pairing the Universal/HTML application with the Web Application Wrapper, the application will automatically be launched in an Electron Wraper.
Control Panels
One of the use cases for Universal Applications is serving Cloud Panels for the Control Gateway.
When a Universal Application is configured as a Control Panel, it will automatically be unbundled and served via the Experience Manager allowing Control Panels to interact with the Control Gateway directly from the Experience Manager.
