Universal Application API

The Universal Application API provides local hosting by the Experience Agent for Universal Web Applications.

When a Universal Application is included on a Node Template, it will be downloaded and cached by the Experience Agent to the local Node. Once unzipped the Universal Application may be accessed through the Universal Application API.

GET /app/universal/<application nanoid>/<file path>

WARNING

This endpoint is designed for use with the Experience Agent and Web Application Wrapper. It is available for access by other applications, but may not be well suited to their use.

The /app/universal/ endpoint will serve files from the Universal Application bundle based on the Universal Application's Nano ID. It will determine the appropriate version to serve based on the version specified in the Node Template.

The <file path> param serves any file contained within the bundle by path.
